Work Pack
Work Packs are linked to an aircraft and contains all the costing of parts, services and labour allocated to a task card in a specific Work Pack. Reporting can easily be done per Work Pack providing details to the AMO as well as the client.
Task Card
Task Cards contains the detail of work done on the specific card activity. A task card records the original defect/task and associated rectification/action for each task on a Work Pack.
Aircraft records are linked to a Work Pack, as all Work Packs are relevant to a specific aircraft. In addition the aircraft specific information is recorded for record purposes on the Work Pack.
Store part numbers
Purchase Orders
Parts are controlled through a Store where parts are received through purchase orders and issued to Task Card contained in a Work Pack. Service required on a Task Card can be ordered through the same Purchase Order system.
Inventory relates to the management of parts and services. Included the ordering , receipt and issuing of parts to a Work Pack.
Services are purchase orders used when work is subcontracted to an external supplier that provide the service. Services will always be linked to a task card .
